The gown is so lovely on its own. The fitted, fully lined bodice is royal blue, with bright yellow piping down the center to match the full, flowing skirt. The short, puffed sleeves are pale blue, with red satin appliques. Both sleeve options have cuffs. The gown has a zipper closure at the back. The detachable cape is also done in royal blue, with a red satin lining. The detachable stand-up white collar is firmly interfaced, and attaches to the gown with snaps. All seams that are not enclosed are finished.
